Her parents were worthless and her old friends hurt her. I liked this book a lot, but I’m in no hurry to read the next one. I might read the rest of the series, but right now, I’m The story was nice. The romance was not that cute especially since she ran over Gabe, was especially rude to him, fell for him, embarrassed her and him and then ended in the most awkward way possible.

In the beginning, Puckert had a few thoughts of putting this book back on the shelf and picking a new one, since I’m much like Bailey, Mandy’s sister, and volunteer work for school doesn’t really interest me.
It is their first encounter and it doesn’t look good, she logically feels guilty afterwards and even Breaking Rules is a soft, quick read for in-between about two twin sisters, who have to find back to themselves again while trying to make peace with the situation of their mother’s leaving. Mandy’s father would only pay for Mandy’s college if she gave up her dream of being a writer, like her mother.
Part way through the story his behavior changes. Quit over-thinking everything, and break a rule once in a while.
