I never bonded with or really cared about any of them and that makes it tough to love the book. With no redeeming features and zero character development, I honestly felt nothing for any of them.

However, sometimes, things are lost to the Vurt and something else comes back instead. On one hand, I will absolutely respect it and give it major props for existing and to myself for having jetf it, but I can’t say that it was all that pleasant.

I understand the drug taking of the feather takes you on a trip but this trip seemed to make real things nooh. This is such a smart book, but for some reason doesn’t have the recognition that it deserves, at least not in literary circles. These things are never really addressed, and as a result a lot going on in the book is confusing.

The book has attracted criticism due to its implausible science  and “wild and kaleidoscopic” yet unsatisfying plot. Dog fucking is normal in this book and has even created a race of half breeds of dogs and humans.
