Ok sorry about that, I must have used “LM5” in the Multisim quick search which brought up the timers and I didn’t see the discrepency. With the values as shown and VR1 centred, the frequency is about Hz. Another application of the voltage controlled oscillator is the variable frequency signal generator itself.
